Near Colorado Springs
Our beautiful trails provide a variety of mountain views, from deep forest to panoramic settings overlooking the Rocky Mountain region. These can include glimpses of Colorado Springs and the far prairies, while surrounded by mountain peaks.
Your knowledgeable guide will escort you while entertaining you with tales of the old west, local lore, and observations about the flora and fauna, all while insuring your comfort and safety. Along the trail you may see wildlife, wildflowers, mushrooms, crystal clear creeks and spectacular aspen groves.
Our one hour ride is on the easiest trail, suitable for any ability of rider, while still providing a variety of scenic views as you travel up and down switch backs.
We also offer longer rides, one climbing another 800 feet past old mining claims.
1 HOUR RIDE - $60.00 per person
Our one-hour ride is for all riding abilities where a knowledgeable guide will escort you through beautiful trails,and provide a variety of mountain views. Along the way, you may see over 100 varieties of wildflowers and possibly some of the forest fauna. Mule deer, elk, Abert squirrels and other indigenous animals are not an uncommon sight. Minimum of 2 people per trip / Minimum age 7, Maximum weight 230 lbs.
1 ½ HOUR RIDE- $90.00 per person
We offer a beautiful 90 minute experience that offers a little of everything. This includes everything on the one hour ride, but adds more of the local historic areas. Minimum age 8 to ride / Maximum weight 210 lbs.
2 HOUR 15 MIN RIDE - $120.00 per person
We offer a variety of two-hour rides for all riding levels. This may include a pine forest, meandering mountain creeks with small falls and climbing through the mining district onto picturesque Mount Vigil or Greyback Mountain. The views are beautiful and some may climb 800 feet in elevation with a vista of the city of Colorado Springs 3000 feet below and a 360 view of the Rockies. The flora and rock formations are constantly changing with amazing photo opportunities. Minimum age 10 / Maximum Weight 200 lbs.
JEEP HORSE PACKAGE - $129.00 per person

In partnership with our friends at Adventures Out West, we are happy to offer a package that leaves the driving to someone else. Your Cowboy guide will take you in an open-air Jeep up Old Stage Road leading to Cripple Creek. We then stop at the Old Stage Riding Stables for a one-hour horseback ride on mountain trails through pine trees, aspen groves, and mountain meadows. While at the ranch you may have the opportunity to view bison and elk. After the ride, we get back in the Jeep to head back to town. 2 1/2 hours / minimum 2 people. You will meet at Pikes Peak Bike Tours shop in Old Colorado City at 9:00am to sign waivers and load in our vans for a 9:20am departure time. From there we will drive you up to the Old Stage Riding Stables to take in the crisp mountain air and beautiful scenery as you ride along on your spectacular one hour long mountain horseback tour.
